EVM Institutional Day Brings Institutional Ethereum Adoption Into Focus in Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, September 1, 2026: EVM Institutional Day was held at FINRAN Group's Kuala Lumpur office, hosted together with its venture-builder company TEIZA. Rather than addressing a general crypto audience, the afternoon brought together bankers, regulators, exchange operators and infrastructure providers to examine what institutional adoption of Ethereum-compatible infrastructure actually requires in practice.
The first panel, “What Institutional Adoption Needs from the On-chain Tech Stack”, featured Cathal Donnellan (President, NexStox), Harpreet Singh Maan (CEO and Co-founder, TEIZA), Kaven Choi (Business Development Manager, Etherscan) and Pradeep RV Singh (CEO and Co-founder, gateway.fm). The discussion stayed at the level that matters most to institutions weighing on-chain infrastructure: custody, data reliability and the operational layer beneath any adoption headline.
The second panel, “Institutional Blockchain & Digital Assets Adoption in Practice”, brought together Rene F. (Vice President, ACCESS Blockchain Association Malaysia and Community Lead, Morpheus AI Asia), Mo Jalil (CEO, EthSystems), Ji Sheng Tan (CEO, GamBit Group) and Justin Heng (Head of OTC, HATA). Together they offered a grounded view of where Malaysia's digital asset market stands today, following recent guidance from the Securities Commission and Bank Negara Malaysia.
The day also saw two memoranda of understanding signed on stage, between EthSystems, Gateway and TEIZA, and between iSentric, Ovanti and TEIZA, extending the working relationships that underpin the ecosystem's institutional roadmap.
The result was a candid look at institutional adoption up close: less hype and more operational detail. FINRAN Group is grateful to every speaker who joined and to every guest who made the room what it was. Conversations like these are exactly why we host them.
